Welcome
We would like to take this time to welcome you to Rust Mountain View Ranch and our website. We hope that our website will give you a better feel of how we raise our cattle, and an explanation of why we raise purebred Angus and Simmental bulls and heifers.
Annual Bull Sales
The main reason we raise registered cattle at Rust Mountain View Ranch is really simple and straight forward. We develop the cattle with our customers in mind. Coming from a commercial background we realize how tough it is to be profitable year in and year out. The commercial rancher needs to have an added advantage, or like we say an ACE IN THE HOLE, compared to his competitor. We believe that the genetics Rust Mountain View Ranch has to offer could be your ACE IN THE HOLE.
For those who breed later or have surprises at turn-out time, the Spring Turn-Out Bull Sale is a great opportunity in May to get the same genetics we offer at our earlier sale.
Two Breeds,
One Goal
We raise and develop two registered breeds with each breed having something valuable to offer. We offer Angus and Simmental cattle that are good footed, deep sided, easy calving, maternal, and are production orientated without sacrificing disposition. The Angus is a maternal breed that is deep sided, long, with excellent spring of rib, and picture perfect udders. The Simmentals bring all the performance, mothering ability, and big weaning and yearling weights that every rancher strives for at the end of the year. We began our Angus heard in 2014 and dispersed our Red Angus herd in 2019 to 5 Oak Farms in Tennessee.
